*Stand alone MC Novel*
Biker b****? Not this chick.
I can’t stand my father and his group of criminals,
and what better way to get back at my father, the President,
than to sleep with one of them?

Poor little Prospect, he never saw me coming.

When my safety is jeopardized yet again by the MC,
it’s not the Prospect to my rescue,
it’s a Nomad bound for hell and my heart.

This book review is for Princess (an Oath Keepers MC Standalone Novel) by Sapphire Knight. Kindle Edition

As always, Mrs. Knight does NOT disappoint. Of course, this book deserves 5 stars (as do all of her other novels), and without spoiling any of the details for you, here's why:

Plot: Well written and full of unexpected, but believable (for an MC) scenarios. Half way through I thought the story was coming to an end (because a lot had happened already), but then out of nowhere I found myself on a life threatening mission, followed by WTF, Holy Sh*t-this is gonna-be-bad-danger. Then, with anxiety building and evolving into some much-needed passion...we get right into the surprising (but in hindsight, shoulda saw it coming) ending. No plot holes left in the main story, but a distinct opportunity present to have stories written about secondary characters and sub-plots. (Can't wait!)

Characters: Never once did I doubt the love Viking and Princess had for each other. Their attraction and need for one another radiated like flames off of the “pages.” Princess fit her name well~ strong-willed, sassy, flawed in her judgment at times... but Viking? I think I've only ever loved Tate/Luka from SK's “Secrets,” as much. Put it this way, if I'd never met my husband, I'd probably call B.S. on Sapphire's storybook men. Men that obsessive, passionate, in control, AND good in bed, don't exist... do they? There was also a host of other characters, some from the other books, but definitely a stand alone story.

The Writing: I haven't read all of Sapphire's books yet (which is proving to be a challenge- SO HOT!!), but this one does like the rest, reads smoothly, like a well-lubed sheath... with little to none noticeable grammatical mistakes/spelling errors.

In Case You Wanted to Know: It took me an incredibly long time to get through this book (like 6 days, I know- Shameful), but before you think that is a bad thing or the book's fault, let me tell you why.

#1 I chose to read this book at the worst possible time. Not only do I have 5 major (self-imposed) deadlines I'm trying to meet, but I also had my son's 3-day birthday celebration this past weekend, with friends & family over, and the party to plan & cook for.

#2 This just so happens to be during my 2-week “in-heat” time of the month, where my husband and I are inseparable and insatiable...

And? Well, I usually do my reading, relaxed in bed, because if the family thinks I am sleeping, then they might just let me have some quiet time. BUT...reading any of Sapphire's books while already hot as hell, next to a husband who is ready to go as soon as his primitive nose smells the surplus of pheromones I'm giving off- is a bad idea... Okay, it's a bad idea if my goal is to finish the book!

In typical S.K. Fashion, this novel is spanked with panty-drenching, slick your lips- kind of scenes... And what I like most, they're not drawn out, over detailed, “my gosh, are they doing it again/done yet?” type of scenes. Instead, they're longer than an afternoon quickie but shorter than a “holy sh*t! I'm late and losing my job!” rendezvous.

Overall: In her closing note, Sapphire says, “This may not be the ending you were hoping for... if you were able to experience even a fraction of what I felt when writing it...” Well, Sapphire, I did. Every part. Every emotion. Excited, anxious, uneasy. Filled with dread, consumed by desire. Remorsefully bawling like a baby, then finally content with the raw beauty of this well-told story. Great job Sapphire Knight. Keep them coming. Fan for life.

P.S. Count my vote in for Nightmare & Bethany ;-)

Princess edition by Sapphire Knight CT Cover Creations Mitzi Carroll Romance eBooks Reviews

Ok I have been reading this series and the mob books sense the beginning. That being said I have to say this one is my favorite. I have been waiting for the nomads and they are everything I though and more. Viking is no one to mess with. He has no problem saying what he feels and killing anyone in his way. He has a past with another club but his body and soul will always be with the Oath Keepers. Now he's not looking for an Old Lady but when he finds her in a crowded bar he knows he's going to keep her. Princess is everything he's looking for. She's strong, independent, loyal, open and most of all HIS. She has a agenda and a grudge with her dad who just happens to be the Pres of the Oath Keepers. So with everything stacked against them can they build something together or will it all be too much. Loved every word even the hard ones to read but I've got to say I now can't wait for Nightmare's book.
This was quite the ride. This one is about Princess and a brother from the MC. Princess is seeking revenge. She wants humiliation against her father the President. She wants him to feel the paid and hurt that she has felt for years. So she figures what better than to make her way through the MC. Viking is not what she expected. I loved this one. Revenge becomes a thing of the past when Viking becomes a part of her life. Another amazing book from Sapphire. She writes books that grip you and having you holding on until the end. She has you easily falling in love with the characters and wanting to see if they get a happy ever after. Highly recommend this one
Wow...always exciting, always sexy and always full of twists, this author never disappoints whether it be the Russian mob or bikers and although I really enjoyed Viking and Princess...it wasn't quite as in depth as the Oath Keepers and I really wanted more history and more interaction between the characters. The violence was gruesome and really showed a very dark and dangerous side to Viking (OMG what he does to an unknowing Prospect was horrendous) and yet I did get a kick out of his over-the-top possessive alpha side and how Princess could make him nervous and put him in his place.
As with the rest of Sapphire Knight's series', family and the dysfunctional parts of them, play a huge part in the story and is the fuel that keeps the characters motivated and doing their best to either hurt or help their cause. Princess was working with her grudge against her biker father and making mistakes along the way...Viking was a not-to-be-messed with very brutal killer who could also love with much intensity.
Another good addition to the Oath Keepers and a great start to the Nomad group of bikers and can be read on its own but would be much better if you read the rest of the books first for the history of the characters.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

***** 4.5 ***** "he claimed her without fearing the consequences" stars
I have seen books by this author around for a while and have been wanting to read them. The covers are gorgeous and they really called to me. I had seen teasers for Princess around everywhere and wanted to read it so bad. Unfortunately I wasn't in love with the book as much as I thought I would be. I really wanted to like this book. I'm afraid to say it fell short of my expectations and it didn't catch my attention the way I had hoped. I don't believe this will deter me from trying this author again, the sex scenes were hot in the book but there were certain instances where I just couldn't fathom going on or just turned me away. I know it's fiction, I read it every day and I love this genre however I'm sad to saunters book just wasn't for me.
