I enjoyed it, especially since I didn't know anything about it until the day before it was released. I like that Gannon took a risk with Grace and developed her from a woman meandering through life--and tended to not fight back--to a confident, pushy woman who does what she wants. It was a nice change. Jamie--both of him--was an interesting perspective to read from. This book was also more suspenseful than some of the others because there was the inherent question of how they were going to end up together. I also enjoyed reading the murder investigation play out--another nice twist. Also, Lucinda really knew how to have fun.

I can't say I wouldn't have preferred Missy and Zakk's story (no rush, ahem) but it was better than I had anticipated and I'm really glad I read it. Highly recommended.

Ok, first off, let me just say I took a whole point away from my review because the grammatical mistakes are appalling in this book. Not like a missing word here or there, I mean like every other paragraph! Having said that, the story itself was a five star read to me! I loved the story, but midway through the book I was SICK of the grammar issues. Misspelled, missing, and just plain wrong words abound! If this went through an editor, it'd be awesome! I loved the H/h. And truly laughed so hard at one point! (During the ghost walk, the h's attempt at telling a ghost story) This story is cute and inventive. Of course I had the killer pegged early on, but waiting to see it come together was fun.

This book was refreshing and fun. So many authors use the same plot with different characters. This author is inventive and creates an interesting story that you can easily read and enjoy.

Cassandra Gannon never disappoints. Her characters are some of the spunkiest, most charming messed up individuals and I always adore them from the first page. This is another great story - funny, adventurous and romantic.
