Sorry, but this series is ridiculous. NOTHING happens. If I didn't borrow the whole series from a friend I would be livid I spent money on this . I am pretty sure I skim read the last three books for closure . The main character reminds me 13 year old brat who thinks everything is about her and that she so much smarter than everyone else. She has no remorse for her actions and thinks she justified in the domino effect of problems she causes everyone else. There is NO character development what so ever for her other than she actually become more and more brainless . The first book drew me in and I thought the story would develop more in the other books, but that is not the case in this series. The last three books consist of focusing a winey brat and her breaking up and getting back together with Asher every other paige.Plus, what is with the excessive use of nicknames? I was ready to chuck my kindle after reading "love, siren, cutie, blood of Eden, and Ashe" over three thousand times in each book. It's not cute, it's obnoxious and nauseating. Don't waste your money on the middle three books of this series. Read the first and the last book. You will miss nothing in between and you will save yourself the headache .Tags : Revolution (The Revelation Series) (Volume 4) [Randi Cooley Wilson] on Amazon.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Revolution The Revelation Series Volume 4 Randi Cooley Wilson 9781505835823 Books Reviews
I did not see that one coming! Oh the betrayal! I was on the edge of my seat with who betrays the St. Michaels. Was thinking that it might have had been Kenna with how badly she always treated Eve. Gladly she wasn't!
The storyline is a worthy read in so many ways. However, warning you have to be attentive to it or you fine yourself wondering to remember everything in previous novels that brought the reader to it's current pages. A lot going on with the main characters as they move thru the storytelling. Randi Cooley Wilson is a new author for me and found her to be creative in The Revelation series.
This book left me begging for more. Wilson drew out each scene just enough and made them suspenseful and sexy, so much so that by the time the book ended I felt I needed a cold shower to bring me back to reality. She left the end of the book hanging at such a critical moment that I can't wait to read the conclusion to the series. Gargoyles rule!
Please tell me why it took 4 books for me to get wrapped into the story? Like I had almost given up after book 4 and I’m still not completely on board with eve. But book 4 is by far my favorite thus far.
I still like this series, but sometimes Eve can be really dumb. Sometimes Asher is also a little too intense. Finally, the dialogue is becoming repetitive. Gage calls Eve love. Asher growls and says stop calling her that. That is just one example. There are many more repetitions. The books good be a drinking game. So that said, I still like the books but maybe they shouldn't all be read right in a row. Take a break so you can be fresh for each book.
SPEECHLESS...that is what I am after this book. I just thought my heart shattered in book 2, Revolution left me STUNNED! This is one hell of an emotional ride and an AMAZING story. I absolutely can't get enough of this series and have one hell of a time trying to put them down!! So many different levels of love, loyalty, betrayal, new beginnings, death...not necessarily in that order...WOWZA!! Guard your heart my friends because no one is safe!! And now to start the finale, book 5...gosh I hope my heart survives!!!! Bravo Randi Cooley Wilson ❤️❤️
Happy Reading!
Ok reading if you do not mind some holes in plot lines, characters etc, I would say it is good for the young adult reader perhaps or for those who just want something easy but if you are an avid reader and like more complex meaty fantasy books with layers and depth then this is likely not for you. Ok for long flights etc where you just look for something to pass some time but not really any meat to these bones.
